Anybody else going?? I would love to meet blogging friends there.
I'm excited. Not only will it be a fun trip for me and the girls but I will get to see a dear friend and, most importantly, stand up and be counted as one who will not be silent as innocent human lives are being taken.
I am hoping that Obama will see the numbers and, being a skilled politician, will realize that it will be politically damaging to him to alienate this enormous group of voters. My greater hope and prayer is that he will experience conversion on the life issues, that in the silence of his heart he will come to realize that the taking of any human life is horribly wrong.

The Interview
{add here who interviewed you - link to their blog}
Instructions:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me".
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. (I get to pick the questions).
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
So, here are the 5 questions with my answers...
1.What achievement are you the most proud of each of your children?
2.What single thing do you wish to be remembered by?
3.If you could give your husband one of his biggest life dreams, what would that be, and, what would that mean to you?
4.Where in the world would you like to go that you have never been before - and why is that place attractive to you?
5.What is the happiest memory of your childhood?
BTW, you'll all be in my prayers during the March for Life. I am not going because I'm afraid of the cold - and my nerves jumping where I'd spend the most of my time in a SaniCan, if you get my drift. I would be overly anxious about the crowds and stuff and being cold and stuff. I know - I told you, I am a wimp!
Rosemary,
Have a wonderful time. I was able to attend 9 of the 10 years we lived in the Virginia area. Take pictures as you won't see any in the newspapers. Oh, and a rosary won't hurt either. You will hear groups reciting as you move through the crowd or marchers. Make sure as you are going up "The Hill" that you turn around just to marvel at the sheer numbers! It is quite a site to behold. Many bring homemade signs, which we have done and the Knights usually have a bunch if you want to carry. There are people in the crowds--Knights and also the organizers of the events --well marked--that will be soliciting donations. I usually bring some cash to drop in their buckets..along with a water bottle. The Smithsonians have nice and warm rest rooms to stop in if need be. Have a blessed time and I hope to get back there one day!

hi mom
its liz I wanted to say I'm soooooooo excited for the trip it'll be so much fun!!!!!!!!!!
Rosemary: I'll say a prayer for you and your daughters that you stay warm and safe. What a wonderful thing you are doing!! God bless you!
You know I'd meet you if I could!
You won't believe it! I hope your prayers are answered, but it will take a miracle. I think he might watch his step on FOCA, but I think things are deeper with him and many others than some of us fully realize. I think the simple truth is that we are in this pro-life prayer life for the REST of our lives and longer. I think the fight is here to stay until Jesus comes. Still, you go and if you move one single heart to change from your participation, then you have done what God asks!
Amen? Amen!
Rosemary,
How long will you be in the area? I would love to meet you. I live just outside of DC in Northern Virginia. I am still trying to figure out if I can make the walk. email me. Denise(dot)Hunnell(at)gmail(dot)com
Blessings!
Denise
Hey, Sarah, thanks for the interview. I will do it soon. Sarah, I don't think you're a wimp at all. God leads us to do different things at different times.
Liz, I know!!! Get better!
Anne, thank you so much for the tips!! That's just the kind of thing I really wanted to know. I had been asking about signs and I am sure we will stop at a Smithsonian for the clean, warm restrooms!!! Anything else you can think of?
Nancy, thank you!!! I so appreciate prayers. This will be a ten hour drive for us.
Suzanne, I know we will meet sometime. We're not that far away really. Well, compared to D.C. It could be a long battle. It already IS a long battle. But all things are possible, right?
CM, I'm emailing you.
Rosemary,
if you and Catholic Mom work out a get-together, let me know. I'm not far from her, and I'd love to meet you.
Michelle, cool!! Wouldn't that be fun?? I will.
Rosemary
Another thought that I had is we usually hang out towards Constitution Ave. If you claustrophobic in least, you will not want to move in towards the stage. The sound system is not great and I usually bring a small radio and listen that way. Then you can watch all the prep with whichever group gets to hold the BIG banner and be apart of the initial flow into the March. I usually had very energetic kids that needed some space to move around (meaning run around) and that was the other reason why we stayed out of the 'crowd' until it starts to March...around 1:15-1:30pm. The Rally is at noon. If you can make the Mass the night before at the National Shrine, that is a sight to behold. I did that twice and was in awe of the all the young people that were planning to sleep where ever they could and take turns doing adoration. There is a rally for teens/young adults in the area but we moved before my kids were old enough to participate. I don't know the ages of your girls but with a search on the March for Life website, you might be able to figure out if it is something you want to participate in.
If I come up with any other thoughts, I'll let you know!
God bless,
Anne
