Christmas Eve. Everything done. Presents under the tree. Mom duly exhausted. All ready to go.
We had a wonderful Christmas with my sister and brother, their families, and dear family friend Lisa.
And the very next day..... Sweet Mary turned 14. We put up the pastel balloons and streamers. Wrapped her presents in BIRTHDAY paper (no red or green) (Sometime I'll post about the Christmas I spent in labor all day, refusing to go to the hospital and leave my other children opening their presents. Finally went to the hospital fully dilated and managed to bring Mary into the world on the 26TH so she could have a birthday of her own.)
What a blessing to have you in our family. Sweet, responsible, adorable, hard-working, precious Mary Sunshine (as I sometimes call her).
May the Lord bless you with every good thing and keep you in His grace all the days of your life.

Indeed: May the Lord bless Mary with every good thing. Happy Birthday!!
Happy Birthday to Mary! I'll bet she really appreciates what you did...although, it sounds as though God was planning on her having that birthday of her own..anyway. :)
Special story.
Wow, you've got some serious willpower to hold off delivering your daughter for a day! :)
LOL. I did my best. I also just didn't want to leave my other children on Christmas day. I think Suzanne is right. God chose her birthday.
