Yeah, Saturday was a disapppointment but we're all thinking that was because they hadn't played for a week. Now they're roaring again. At least, I hope.
Mimi, I don't even want to think about what was on his hand. One of our newscasters pointed out that he pitched just as well after he washed it off so the Cards couldn't very well say whatever it was was making a difference. Not that that would justify breaking rules... oh dear..

I agree, but it certainly appears that it's going to be a sticky wicket in this entire series.
Oh, no! Rosemary, we may be on different sides on this one. I'm not against the Tigers or anything. It's just that I'm such a White Sox fan, I've been rooting for the Cardinals for the simple fact that they play against the Cubs. But I have so many Michiganian friends, it would break my heart not to cheer for the Tigers, too.
Catholic wife and mother, Oh dear. I'm actually not as serious about this as my posts might sound. I'd like to see something good happen for Detroit. And I do live near there... and then there's the nostalgia..May the best team win, but I hope it's the Tigers.
Mimi. it appears it will be sticky. I think I may write a post about the concept of something not really being wrong if there's never any enforcement. I think that's what's going on here.

They did great last night, Saturday night - not so much.

They sure seemed to be in their groove yesterday - and remember, they dropped the first game to the Yankees, and then won, what, eleven straight?
So, what do you think was on Rogers' hand?

In a quandary. . .
