I took my dog Nala for a walk today through the neighborhood. It's quite cold out but the sun is shining. In states like Michigan where the winters are long and cold and often not that sunny, days like this are quite lovely. Glistening snow, Sounds muted, and the sun hints at adding just a touch of warmth.
It's quite beautiful.
I love these plants that look like this all winter long. So delicate looking and yet they must be so hardy to have not fallen apart in this weather.
And for the days that are not so sunny? Tulips on the table turn our hearts toward Spring which is really not that far away...
