Feeding tube!
Rich's doctor is recommending he get a feeding tube as soon as possible. He is getting very little food down, trying to maintain his weight with Ensure, and even that is not going down easily. His esophagus is severely distended-- something like five times its normal diameter. It's so constricted at the bottom that the food is literally getting clogged and bulging out to the side.

I remembered your brother at Mass tonight. Stay strong, many people are praying and holding you in their hearts!
We are all praying for Rich, Rosemary. Lord, please help Rich with anxiety. Help him to remain calm as possible through this ordeal and for Rosemary who loves her brother so and wants him to be healed. Please let them know You are right there with them. We ask this through your Most Holy Name, Jesus. Amen
