"That is jaw-dropping. It is an assertion of judicial supremacy over the people’s Representatives in Congress and the Executive. It envisions a Supreme Court standing (or rather enthroned) at the apex of government, empowered to decide all constitutional questions, always and everywhere “primary” in its role."
Justice Scalia is my favorite Supreme Court Justice. Saw him speak at the University of Michigan once. I'm so tired tonight. I'll write more about this disastrous ruling tomorrow.

I love him so much! :) He spoke about the uniqueness of our Constitution and his (and our) duty to protect it when I was at West Point.

You were at West Point? As a student?
No! Sorry, that was unclear. Judy (Jim's swing partner), Mary (who ran track with Jim), and I were invited to a banquet and ball there and he was the keynote at the banquet!
