For FIVE weeks now we have not witnessed this scene in our living room. The Steinway is eerily silent and gathering dust.
John is not here. He is at Chautauqua Summer Institute for a seven week piano program. We miss him sooo much.
Once in while someone will go up to the piano and play "Chopsticks," to which I respond.
"STOP IT!!!!!"
No one would try that if John were home. Because he would flip.
So today some of us are going to visit him. It's going to be fun. I can't wait to see it. I can't wait to hear what he's playing! He says he's learned a LOT.
