Wow, Deb at Ukok's place had a fascinating discussion going on with some Protestants on the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
I was so impressed with the skill with which Deb and Alexa and Suzanne, among others defended the Real Presence. Are you all studying theology? I know Deb is. Anyway, it's a great read if you haven't seen it.
The original post was about why Protestants are not to receive Communion in the Catholic Church. To my astonishment there were over 50 comments!!!

I always feel so ineffective, I just read the comments.
It was a great discussion, I thought.
Mimi...You are never ineffective when you have something you want to add concerning your love for Christ...I always believe that there may be one word to one person that can be effective, just as one act can be. You move me in so many ways to love and guard my faith and family! I hope you read this, so you'll know, God may have been moving you to add something..please know that its true!
Believe me, my words are very simple most of the time. They are so, because that is simply who I am...never took one semester of anything and I am sure people can tell, but as the old saying goes, "God doesn't make trash!" Well, I think that might mean that there's something worthwhile even in the uneducated...meaning higher education with regard to Theology and all that good stuff! :) Suzanne
Yes, it was a very interesting discussion!!!
Yes, it was a great discussion. Suzanne, you sure express yourself well on theological matters in spit of not having studied it. Godd job.
Rosemary, it was very sweet of you to write this post (((hug)))
Rosemary,
THANK YOU! I just read the post at Ukok's place, and WOW! I did add my 2 cents, and I hope that I was tactful, although sometimes, I am like a bull in a china shop with my words. I saw your commnet on the Guerrilla Apologetics book. Thanks for stoppping by. Did you read the reveiw of the Guerrilla Apologetics For Life Issues? It is listed on my sidebar in the Book Reviews list. I found it was an even greater resource than the ...for Catholics book.
In Christ,
Christine
Thanks, dear Suzanne!
