Weight Loss Wednesday

 Accountability Numbers:

This week:  Down 1/2 pound

Overall:  Down 9 pounds

I may go back to Weight Watchers to get these last pounds off.  October is a big family birthday month for us.  It's been pretty hard.  I have found myself slipping back into the 'how much can I eat and get away with' attitude instead of the healthier "how much do I need to eat' attitude.

And soon there will be Halloween candy in the house.  Oh no!!!

Lots of opportunities to exercise self control and lots of sacrifices to offer to the Lord.

You can avoid the Halloween candy! When I'm done with this whole pregnancy thing, remind me to do the accountability numbers as well. It's just too depressing to record the numbers now. You are an inspiration!

Remeber, put a couple of pieces of candy in your hand and WALK AWAY from where they are stored.

Hard, I know.

And, whohoooo.

Still, you are doing well! YOu are even catching yourself out before it's too late and strategizing on how to avoid eating too much of those things that lure you. So. WW is a great program!! Whatever you decide, just promise to love yourself enough to be okay with where you are currently at.

Blessings
Sarah

Good job, Rosemary and thank for continuing to inspire me in more than one way. I don't forget to thank God too, for sure, but I'm just saying that He's been working a bit through you to me. :) Suz

Congratulations on your weight loss! I have been struggling with weight my entire life! I do have to say though that I have joined weight watchers and lost a lot of weight through the program, for a while at least. I quit going when I stopped losing weight. Had a lot of stress in my life and thought it was a waste of my $. The ironic thing is that I probably would have done better staying in the program through the stress- just read a book, "Structure House," by Gerard Musante. The author points out in this book that most people fail to lose weight when they eat to satisfy emotions, not hunger. Wish I would have known this before quitting and gaining 20 more pounds!

You guys are wonderful. thank you so much for the encouragement. Becky and Satria, thanks for stopping by.
Lyndsie, I didn't know you were pregnant. Well if you were putting up numbers we would be cheering when they went UP.
Mimi, good idea.
Sarah and Suzanne, you guys are so sweet.
