6 inches! Wow! I was watching the news last night and some places in the U.S had 3 ft of snow, it's hard to imagine. 6 inches is just about bearable, unless like me, you happen to be a brit and then panic ensues!
Me too! Yesterday though, we lost electricity for about 7-8 hours! Thank goodness we have a fireplace and logs! It helped alot as the house started cooling down upstairs after only about an hour! So we cuddled and huddled and walk around to make sure we the blood was moving around! Ha! I had little kids praying and at about 5:30 pm it all came back on..so I put frozen pizzas in the oven! Ha! Have fun!
Suzanne, that sounds cozy. A fun adventure. (Now that it's over and thepoeter is back on:) Deb and Mimi, than you. We did enjoy our time at home and one of my sons did quite well shoveling snow.
We had two days off last week, and today was our second day this week. It snowed or sleeted off and on all day yesterday. It is a change from our usual Feb. Last week was freezing cold.
What a blessing the extra sleep surely was! We have had two snow days in a row and two more to go (already off school for Thurs & Fri). We got a total of 17" since early, early Tuesday morning.
