Letter to the Editor-- unedited, yeah!

The Ann Arbor News published my letter on Obama's lifting of restrictions on embryonic stem cell research.  They didn't change a word, for which I'm grateful.   You can read it here.  There is only one dissenting comment so far.  I was hoping for more discussion.

Anyway, hope you're all having a lovely weekend.  It's a beautiful day here, sunny and blue skies, 42 degrees which feels very warm for us.

Things are looking up. I'm so glad they published it. Even if people don't discuss it in the paper, they are talking about it in their homes, at work. Trust me. EVeyrone talks.

A well written article, Rosemary, congrats on getting it published. Hopefully others who will read it will study and digest your argument. one person can change things, you might just have changed someones mind on this important topic, you may never know it, but you could have.

Thank you all for your support. Sarah, you're probably right. If they're not talking, maybe they're thinking. Deb, thank you. I hope so.

Hm. I'm debating about whether or not to add a comment there. It seems as if the negative commenter isn't starting at the same place, in defining "life."
