I know you've probably had enough but just in case....

In case anybody out there wants to hear my son John play you can listen to him here.

This is not his latest concert. The clip is from the inauguration of the new EMU president. There is a short intro (about 30 sec.) by the president and then John's piece which is about 2 and a half minutes.

The piece he's playing is a Chopin Etude which he played as an encore piece at Friday's concert.

Oh, Rosemary! That was just so lovely! His precious fingers floating over the keys like butterfly wings! Oh, how he loves what he is doing. What a gift from the Lord and he has put the work into it. Once again..you are all very blessed!

Oh, Rosemary. He is something to be proud of! I just love hearing piano. I love music. It just makes me feel so relaxed. I think I will listen often to him play!
You have such amazing children! You have great reason to be proud of each!
I pray my children to be half as good as your angels are!

PS. I've just signed my 6 year old son up for piano. Some said it's too early. I disagree and he's doing well and enjoying himself!

John started at four, Kathy. I agree that six is not too young. Is he taking Suzuki lessons?

Rosemary, your heart must near burst with pride at the accomplishments of your children. John plays so beautifully, he is an enormously talented and dashing young man.

God Bless all his endeavours, for they glorify God.

Deb, thank you so much. I am very proud of John. But, you know, in his case, there's also just a sense of wonder at the gift God has given him. He's worked hard but he also just has a rather mysterious talent.

wow, wow, wow! I had no idea John played piano, at all, and now to find out he is amazing at it.

Does he teach beginners to make extra money while in school?

Thanks, Jesse, as I emailed you, yes he does teach to make extra money and is looking for more students.
