Weight Loss Wednesday

Accountability Numbers

This week:  Up 1.5 pounds

Overall:  Down 8.5 pounds

The lesson for me this week is one I know full well.
I cannot lose weight by eating whatever I want, whenever I want.
Nuff said.

Well, don't feel like the lone ranger - I have my weigh-in tomorrow night and after having eaten out on Sunday AND Monday (Chinese Buffet, then a HUGE prime rib) - I'm bound to be up some for the first time since I joined. I thought of starving until the meeting, but that's not what it's all about, is it?
Life goes on even while we're losing weight....

Forget it and move on, right?! Right!

Yes, continue to calm down and eat like a lady! LOL! (Wink) This is what I must tell myself almost every time I'm in a good mood when I sit down to eat lately. It helps. :) Oh and to offer some of the extra up to someone else in the family or just offer it up as a little prayer for something important. Hmmm...

I vowed to get back to the gym by today. I have to oversee one more book report getting uploaded to Seton, do some small grocery shopping, and tend to smaller things . . . between now and tonight (when I have my Divine Mercy cenacle meeting) I need to get there. Pray for me! I just want to GET MOVING again.

I also need to get back into exercising and stop eating too much.

So easy to type, and yet so hard to implement, sigh.

Eating whatever does have that effect. Keep trying! Thanksgiving is hard to avoid!
