It's Bitter Cold!!!!

It's soooo cold. It's 2 degrees out and that's WITHOUT the wind chill!!!  This morning the wind chill was 20 below!  I have no idea what it is now.  It's just sooo cold.  And we in Michigan are really used to cold weather, but this is frigid.

Still, it's very beautiful with Christmas lights and all.  We will most definitely have a white Christmas...

And....would you believe it?  Here is the little snapdragon that won't give up.  It's half buried in snow and perhaps it is dead, but it's still green!!!

Could it be that its challenging location between the rock and the foundation of the porch is now an advantage?  Maybe it is receiving a little protection from the elements.   It's dead flowers have not even fallen off.  It's wilted, but not that much.

It is one inspiring little flower.

It IS frigid! Whew! We have no snow yet, but they are saying tomorrow..do you think they are just saying that so that we'll hope for a White Christmas up until...???
:)
Anyway, I had to run in and out of several places last evening. The wind..oh my was it ever cold and miserable and it was 1 below, but not sure what the windchill factor was either, but it could not have been good!
That is one hearty plant...so neat!

Brrrrrrrrrr. It was freezing here, too, but no snow - thank God - it was easy to clean up after the dog this way! :)

Wow. That is cold, we have a lot of snow (a lot for us anyway) and have been hovering around the 20-30s and I'm cold.

You stay warm.

Your neighboring state to the south has the temperature shock WITHOUT the beauty of the snow.

:-(

Isn't this kind of cold meant to wait until January? Yuck!

Brrr. It's cold here too and finally, here in our part of Canada we actually have snow to justify it.

A blessed Christmas to you Rosemary

Thanks for the uplifting comment on my last post, Rosemary. I deleted the post - it was too "down", but I wanted you to know I got your comment and appreciated it.

Your house looks beautiful in the snow. I sure don't mind the snow at all around this time of year.

We have about 4' of it here ourselves and are expecting more tonight and I believe through Christmas!
