My own laptop!!! Yea!!

Yesterday my daughter and I went to the Apple store and we each bought a MacBook!! I'm so excited. I've wanted to do this for a long time. I signed up for the one on one personal training and plan to attend their free workshops too. This is going to be fun. AND... I will always have it available, even when my kids are online socializing or doing homework. (Hopefully, I won't be disappointed...)

You'll love having a Mac. I got mine a few months ago. I'll never get anything else again!

We have been a Mac family since the mid 1980's. I am writing this on my own MacBook now. I also got an iMac for my parents several years ago since it was much easier for them to manage than a Windows PC. I am sure you will love it!

Thank you all. I'm not yet posting on it but I think I love it already.

Rosemary, I'm so happy for you. I've never had a MAC but others in my family love theirs. I'm sure you won't be disappointed especially having free access to it.

You're smart for taking the training.
I'd love to get one, but I don't think I'm up to enduring the learning curve.

Let us know when you first post using it.

Mary Ellen, I just did. Still kind of fumbling with the little differences just in typing. But I will learn it. I just have to keep asking questions, right? AND just keep trying things, as my kids keep telling me.

Hurray for you! You're a smart girl - you won't have any trouble - a few fumbles along the way won't bother you. Like you said - just keep trying things.

Mary Ellen, right. Thanks for the encouragement. I sound braver than I really am. I'm actually kind of a techno-phobe. I rant and rave about how stupid the computer is (not this one, my old one) and then I realize I'm expecting it to read my mind. No computer is that smart! LOL
