Sunday at the park

My husband and I took our three youngest to a local park with hiking trails (pictured) and a nice pond. We had some relaxed walks, and the kids and I played cards at a picnic table while Dad barbecued burgers. The weather was beautiful-- blue skies and warm. My husband said as the day got warmer, "Before you know it we'll be wishing it were winter again." My response? "I don't think so." Hope you had lovely Sunday.

Love the picture!

Oh you know....the snow can make the world look very beautiful...especially when it covers industrial cities like the one I live in....but the sun and the new life sprouting and the warmth of spring and summer...oh yes, I don't think I'll be wishing it was winter anytime soon :-)

I did have one, thank-you! I 1st Holy Communion Mass that was more beautifully done than any I'd ever seen and later a youth Mass very similar to Lifeteen Mass..in fact, I'm sure that is what you'd call it...so, could not have been better, really...close to Heaven. Glad you had such a day too!

Deb, yes, the snow can be very beautiful. I love a freshly fallen snow and I occasionally love a good blizzard. But Spring? There's nothing like it.
Suzanne, how nice that it was a lovely First Communion. And Lifeteen Masses are always nice at our parish. So refreshing to be around enthusiastic young people who really love the Lord.
