The New Blogger
The new version of Blogger does not send me email notification when someone leaves a comment on my blog. I try to keep looking at my posts so I can respond to any comments but I'm sure I'm missing some. Any comments made on posts of mine from a while ago I'm sure I haven't seen. I've looked at my settings to see if there's something I need to change but I haven't found anything yet. Any ideas?

I have seen this comment from several folks. I looked at the blogger help group and found this thread. It sounds like it is a problem with some ISP's but not all. Verizon is specifically mentioned as a problem. I use Cox and receive comment notification just fine. I also do not have comment moderation enabled other than the word verification. Hope that helps!
Rosemary, if you go into Settings
and then hit Comments,
scroll down to Comment Notification Address at the bottom,
fill in your email addy
and then hit the orange Save button and then scroll back up to View
- it should work. Let us know if it works.
Ironically, Angela, I got a notification of your comment here, even before I checked your suggestion. I did have my address in the comment notification box. Maybe I forgot to hit 'save." Still, I wonder how yours got through. Crazy computer stuff...

Rosemary - when our internet provider was experiencing overload (before they upgraded it) I didn't receive notification either. But now the problem is fixed. Glad to hear it's working on your end too.
