I'm just getting over a nasty virus that knocked me out for a day ( I hope it will just be a day!). (fever, chills, headache, congestion, exhaustion) Everybody, take your vitamin C! We especially need it in these cold states, right? And maybe in the UK? What do you say, Deb and Maria? Now Esther in Hawaii probably doesn't need it. (smile) Germs probably get blown away in the ocean breezes in paradise. Oh, I know, people probably manage to get sick everywhere :) Everybody, stay well!!

Sorry to read you were ill Rosemary. I hope you are also taking Echinachea and drinking hot lemonades and hot chicken soup. Yeah, we still get colds here especially in the winter months when it gets down to the 70's
:-)

Esther, Down to the 70s...LOL. We call that a nice summer day. But illness is not just about temperature. In fact I'm sure the immune response system is quite complex. I am taking echinacea and hot chicken soup. Hadn't thought of hot lemonade but it sounds like a good idea. Stay well

Oh dear, I'm so sorry you are down. Prayers for quick healing, and have some soup and put your feet up and read for awhile.

Love,

Rosemary, sorry that you're feeling 'under the weather', prayers ascending on your behalf!

I agree about the vitamins, when I can remember to do so I take a multi-vitaminn, having severe asthma, my immune system is lambasted every time there is a virus so much as in the distant horizon. Oftentimes I forget to even have a vitamin though, and that's a bit daft really.

ukok, I usually forget too. When I'm starting to get sick that's when I think of it.
Thank you, Mimi and Deb for the prayers. I'm feeling a lot better.

Eating fruits and veggies are probably the best thing we can do. Our winter has been pretty mild too until just recently. Mild, by Michigan standards anyway. But those not-all-that-cold days are when we're apt to not dress warmly enough. I wonder if that creates a vulnerability....God bless you too, Maria.
